Women's Golf Takes Eighth Place at Augustana Viking Invite

MONMOUTH, Ill. (04/30/2023) — The Monmouth College women's golf team finished in eighth place at the two-day Augustana Viking Invitational at Highland Springs Golf Course.

With a 93 on Friday and a 96 on Saturday, Amanda Stevens (Mason City, Illinois) had the best finish for a Monmouth player. At +45 she finished in 42nd place with a 189 total.

Sarah Saddoris (Port Byron, Illinois) finished right behind Stevens in 43rd place. She shot a 94 on Friday and a 96 on Saturday for a +46 total of 190.

Annalyn Lovell (Oneida, Illinois) finished in 48th place with a 102 on both days. She tallied 204 total for a +60. Izzy McDermott (Evanston, Illinois) was 49th with a +126 total of 270. She shot 133 on Friday and 137 on Saturday.

The Scots finished in eighth as a team with a +143 total of 853. Augustana College won the event with a +48 team score of 624 and they also had the individual winner with a +8 152.

The golf season is now complete for both the men and women.
