Scots Hand Unbeaten Simpson First Loss

Monmouth pulled off a stunning upset on the road at Simpson, clipped the previously unbeaten Storm 2-1.
Simpson had taken a 1-0 lead into the half before Jacie Reis scored a pair of unassisted goals to hand the Storm their first loss of the season. Reis netted the game-tying goal in the 54th minute and then added the game-winner - her first of the year 17 minutes later.
The win moved the Scots to 9-1-1 on the season and kept goalkeeper Quinn Cutler perfect on the year at 5-0.
Monmouth gets back into Midwest Conference play Saturday, hosting Cornell at 11 a.m.
