D3hoops.com names Scots' Carius Preseason All-American
Monmouth, IL (11/06/2019) — Already named a preseason All-American by Street & Smith's in September, Monmouth's Will Carius (Bettendorf, Iowa/Pleasant Valley) has picked up the same honor from D3hoops.com.
It's the fourth All-American award for Carius, who earned third team All-American honors from D3hoops.com and the NABC at the end of last season after averaging 25.5 points and 11.0 rebounds per game. D3hoops.com placed the senior forward on its second team as a preseason pick heading into the 2019-20 campaign. Street & Smith's named the Midwest Conference's Player and Newcomer of the Year to its first team. Carius helped guide the Scots last season to their second Midwest Conference Tournament appearance in as many years.
A business major, he is the son of Brant Carius.
