Monmouth's Krall Weighs in with MWC Performer of the Week
Monmouth, IL (02/18/2020) — A conference-best throw has earned Monmouth College's Joe Krall (New Berlin, Ill./New Berlin) this week's Midwest Conference Field Event Performer of the Week award for men's indoor track.
Krall is coming on strong for Monmouth, turning in the nation's second-best weight throw at Saturday's Fighting Scot Invitational. His heave of 63'4-1/4" won the event by more than 6' and was also the top throw in the Midwest Conference. The senior also recorded the league's second-best mark in the shot put where he landed the sphere 47'9-3/4" to place third.
A business major, Krall is the son of Connie Krall and Michael and Kathi Krall.
