Scots to Meet Warhawks in First Round of NCAA Tournament
Monmouth, IL (11/17/2019) — Chad Braun will be taking his Fighting Scots to the NCAA Tournament for the third time in his five years guiding the Monmouth College football team and they'll once again be on the road, this time playing UW-Whitewater in Wisconsin.
Kickoff is set for noon Saturday at Perkins Stadium as the Scots battle the Warhawks for the first time in program history. Monmouth (7-2) enters the game on a seven-game win streak, earning the Midwest Conference's automatic berth after defeating St. Norbert in the MWC title game 10-7. Whitewater (9-1) - a six-time national champion - advanced to the postseason as champions of the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. Saturday's contest will be Monmouth's seventh year in the NCAA postseason.
