by Nathan Baliva

MONMOUTH, Ill. (02/06/2025) — The Monmouth College women's swimming team was named a Scholar All-America Team for the Fall 2024 semester by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA). The Scots are one of six Midwest Conference teams (Beloit, Grinnell, Lake Forest, Lawrence, St. Norbert) to earn the honor on the women's side.

To earn this prestigious recognition, teams were required to achieve a grade point average above 3.0 during the Fall 2024 semester. The Fighting Scots, under coach Jake Dacus, posted a 3.39 GPA for the semester. The women's team has earned the CSCAA All-America Team honor for all seven semesters under coach Dacus and they haven't missed the honor since the canceled 2020-21 COVID season.

The Scots completed their regular season on Jan. 25 and are now in preparations for the 2025 Midwest Conference Championships. The championship meet will be held Feb. 21-23 at Grinnell College in Iowa.
